One way afterschool programs can take a realistic look at their programming and determine where they’re doing well and what they need to work on is through the Cycle of Continuous Improvement. The cycle starts with program assessment then walks through creating planning and implementing improvement strategies. This video highlights how two communities in California, Oakland and Black Oak Mine, have used the Youth Program Quality Assessment tool to improve the quality of their offerings.
