Advocates seeking to change state policies on behalf of children got some help last month at a gathering in a Senate office building in Washington: First Focus and the Foundation for Child Development hosted a panel of experts who explained the factors influencing state decisions on children, and how prioritizing child well-being at the state level can improve child outcomes nationwide.
