A new study from Mathematica Policy Research and Stanford University indicates that Playworks, a recess- and play-based program, can improve student behavior and increase readiness for class. The study, Findings from a Randomized Experiment of Playworks, was sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
