Does your program or partnership need a researcher - or an evaluator? If you're not sure, you're not alone: Many program and partnership leaders would be hard-pressed to explain the difference.

Paul Evensen, president of  Community Systems Group (CSG), explains that difference in this new blog, as a service to those pondering which option fits best for them. CSG, an affiliate of the Forum for Youth Investment, is a national leader in evaluating the work of community coalitions and partnerships. 

Symposium Highlights Middle Grade Success

Education leaders from across the nation gathered this week at a symposium hosted by United Way Worldwide (UWW) to address middle students success. The symposium focused on ways to support middle school grades in order to increase high school graduation rates. The event was part of the Middle Grades Challenge, which is led by UWW in partnership with the Forum for Youth Investment and AASA.
