Early Peek at National Meeting Workshops

Early Peek at Ready by 21 National Meeting Workshops
On April 22-24, several hundred leaders from across the nation will come together for a common cause: to help improve the odds that all children and youth will be ready for college, work and life. We are proud that the likes of John Kania, Patrick McCarthy and Ralph Smith will join us as guest speakers. Our workshops are the real stars. A few standouts that you won't want to miss:

Start Me Up: Tools You Can Use
An effective leadership council is essential for successful community change initiatives, whether covering cradle-to-career supports or focusing on specific issues. This workshop explores three tools to inform your decision-making so that you can build a leadership council that works.

Innovative Financing Tools
Learn about innovative financing models for youth programs and services: one in its infancy (Social Impact Bonds/Pay for Success), and the other with a decades-long track record (special taxing districts for children's services in Florida). Experts discuss what it would take to implement these models in your state.

Performance Management to Improve Quality
How does a performance management system improve program quality? The Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality and its Cincinnati partners share their great experiences with the Youth Program Quality Intervention process and provide insight about effective implementation.
