We often get asked about when the activities begin and end so participants can plan their travel. We recommend:
· Arriving in Palm Beach County by 5pm on Wednesday, April18th (if you plan to participate in a pre-session, please note the start time for that session).
· Scheduling departure flights for 4:30pm or later on Friday, April 20th
The Ready by 21 National Meeting will be held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center (PBCCC) located at 650 Okeechobee Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL 33401,

The PBCCC is located in downtown West Palm Beach, just minutes from I-95, Florida’s Turnpike and Palm Beach International Airport. Nearby attractions include CityPlace, a $600 million shopping, dining and entertainment complex; the nationally acclaimed Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts; Palm Beach’s famous Worth Avenue; South Florida’s beautiful beaches; and a wide variety of dining options. The PBCCC is also conveniently connected to our room block hotel, Hilton West Palm Beach.
You are responsible for booking your own accommodations. Unfortunately, our room block at the Hilton West Palm Beach hotel is now closed and the hotel is sold out.
Since we are unable to secure additional room blocks, we recommend checking for accommodations at the nearby hotels listed below (we cannot guarantee their availability). All hotels listed are 5-10mins away from the Palm Beach Convention Center, with the West Palm Beach Marriott being the closest. As of 4/5/18, the West Palm Beach Marriott also had the best rate.
The closest airport is Palm Beach International Airport (www.pbia.org/) which is 3 miles from Hilton West Palm Beach hotel. Hotel guests can enjoy the hotel’s complimentary airport shuttle (PBI airport only) to and from the hotel.
Taxi, sedan, van, super shuttles, and other shared-ride services can be arranged at the Ground Transportation desks located on the east and west ends of the Terminal- Baggage Claim, level one. Please see the link http://www.pbia.org/ground/taxis/ for booking ground transportation in advance. Typical one-way travel is 10 minutes and the average taxi fare is $13.00.
The Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International airport (http://www.broward.org/airport/Pages/Default.aspx) is another option which is 35 miles away and a 45-minute ride to and from the hotel and conference center. Please go to http://www.broward.org/Airport/Transportation/Pages/Default.aspx for more information on ground transportation services.
· Stay tuned for information on the brand new Brightline train service providing economical and speedy transportation from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International airport to Palm Beach County (West Palm Beach railway station). We will provide rates in January or February 2018.
From the Palm Beach International Airport to Hotel: Make right. Take 95 North for one exit (Exit 70), make right and go approx. 1 mile and hotel is on right side just past convention center.
From the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International airport to Hotel: Take 95 North to exit 70, make right and go approx. 1 mile and hotel is on right side just past convention center.
From I-95 to PBCCC: Take I-95 to the Okeechobee Boulevard exit (# 70) and head east on Okeechobee Boulevard, approximately 1 mile. The Palm Beach County Convention Center is located on the south side of Okeechobee Boulevard, directly across the street from CityPlace. Proceed to take a right onto Florida/Rosemary Ave. to access the parking garage.
From Florida Turnpike to PBCCC: Take Florida’s Turnpike to the West Palm Beach/Okeechobee Boulevard exit (# 99) and head east for approximately 7 miles. The Palm Beach County Convention Center is located on the south side of Okeechobee Boulevard, directly across the street from CityPlace. Proceed to take a right onto Florida/Rosemary Ave. to access the parking garage.
Parking: The Hilton West Palm Beach hotel does not allow self-parking but does have valet parking available at $22 per day where in and out privileges are available. Paid self-parking is available at the Palm Beach County Convention Center’s new nine story parking garage. The PBCCC garage’s rate is $5.00 per day and can be accessed on Florida/Rosemary Avenue; 1099 Florida Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. Please note that the garage is quite close to the Hilton West Palm Beach as well.
The dress code for this conference is business casual.
