The fifth annual McCourt School of Public Policy’s LEAD (Leadership. Evidence. Analysis. Debate.) Conference, Moving from Research to Policy and Practice to Improve the Lives of Youth, will be held at Georgetown University on April 6-7, 2017.
The Center for Juvenile Justice Reform is hosting the event in celebration of its 10-year anniversary. The two-day conference, featuring Karen Pittman as one of the panel moderators, will explore how to utilize research to create sound policies and practices to best meet the needs of youth and their families. It will be a mix of plenary and breakout sessions covering topics in juvenile justice, child welfare, education, and behavioral health.
